Online auctions

I've done some work for MinMax, a consulting company. Amongst other things, I've developed for them a simulation system; that is however not this startup's specialty. It specialises in custom-designed online negotiations.

Reading their doc, I find they have interesting ideas about how online reverse negotiations should be constructed. One of their ideas is that unlike most popular auctions online auctions, where the most focus is to try to make fit all auctions in the same mold, they want to exploit the structure of the negotiation. Using this strategy, they believe they can outperform most out-of-the-box solutions.

Got me a blog

I've finally decided to get me blog. I might switch and host myself, but I can't be bothered right now. I'll just wait and see if google can do it properly. From what I know of the Google people I've seen at seminars, they should do a very good job.

I guess I'll write up my thoughts et al. when I'll be backpacking in Guatemala next week. More later...
